__TOC__

Applying the competition to a school, secondary school, institution or organisation means adapting its framework to each body's size and character. Here is how it can work in these settings:

== 1. A school competition ==
* '''Specific objective:''' Create a symbol — logo, mark or emblem — representing the school's identity, values and culture. It complements the official logo rather than replacing it, serving extracurricular activities, special events and school clubs.
* '''Themes:''' The school's spirit, activities, historical milestones and educational values, such as academic excellence, collaboration and creativity.
* '''Eligible participants:''' All pupils, without age limits, potentially divided into age groups such as lower and upper secondary. Teachers can coordinate pupil teams or work individually.
* '''Judging:''' Teachers, pupil council representatives, community members or parents. Criteria can include creativity, relevance to school values and practical applicability.
* '''Prizes and recognition:''' Display the best work on the website, brochures and event materials. Prizes might include educational scholarships, certificates or a school exhibition.

== 2. An upper secondary school competition ==
* '''Specific objective:''' Create a symbol reflecting students' aspirations, the institution's traditions and its community importance. Use it for extracurricular activities, sports teams or student clubs.
* '''Themes:''' Traditions and significant historical events, educational symbols, and how the school prepares students for the future. Examples include educational innovation, career guidance and competitive spirit.
* '''Eligible participants:''' All students, particularly those interested in art, design or marketing. Teams can encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across visual arts, technology and humanities.
* '''Judging:''' Teachers, school leaders and distinguished alumni. Consider originality and how well the work reflects the school's spirit.
* '''Prizes and recognition:''' The winning design might become the sports team's unofficial symbol, appear on kit and promotional materials, or be displayed at the entrance. Prizes might include professional mentoring or special educational resources.

== 3. An institutional competition ==
* '''Specific objective:''' Create a symbol of the institution's mission and values, complementing its official logo. Use it for particular projects, anniversaries and special occasions.
* '''Themes:''' Values such as integrity, innovation and social responsibility, with visual elements representing the main activity — education, health, research or culture.
* '''Eligible participants:''' Employees, external collaborators and possibly the public for wider community involvement. A special team category can be created.
* '''Judging:''' Management, external experts and internal departmental representatives, reflecting the symbol's importance to the whole institution.
* '''Prizes and recognition:''' Winning work in institutional communications, advertising campaigns or annual reports. Winners might receive money, distinctions or opportunities to collaborate on internal projects.

== 4. A non-profit organisation competition ==
* '''Specific objective:''' Create a symbol of the organisation's mission, for a particular campaign or as a general unofficial symbol for awareness and fundraising.
* '''Themes:''' The organisation's community or environmental impact. An environmental organisation might explore nature protection and biodiversity conservation.
* '''Eligible participants:''' The public, volunteers and supporters; artists and designers wishing to contribute to social causes may also be invited.
* '''Judging:''' Organisation members, sponsors and local or international activists, ensuring fair evaluation aligned with its values.
* '''Prizes and recognition:''' Winning work used in awareness campaigns and visual communication. Winners might receive distinctions, project volunteering opportunities or fundraising event invitations.

== 5. A company or corporate competition ==
* '''Specific objective:''' Create a symbol reflecting corporate values or serving a particular initiative, such as CSR campaigns or anniversaries. It serves special purposes without replacing the corporate logo.
* '''Themes:''' Innovation, sustainability, diversity or other corporate values, using elements reflecting the business's activities.
* '''Eligible participants:''' Employees, business partners and even customers, encouraging all stakeholders to engage.
* '''Judging:''' Management, marketing and design staff, and representatives of the company's intended audience.
* '''Prizes and recognition:''' Money, collaboration opportunities or public recognition at corporate events. Use the work on personalised products or internal motivational campaigns.

== Benefits in every setting ==
* '''Engagement and cohesion:''' Creative involvement builds belonging in schools, organisations and institutions.
* '''Recognition and visibility:''' Winners gain exposure; their work becomes part of the identity of the body they represent.
* '''Creativity and innovation:''' Design competitions explore new ideas about how a community or organisation sees itself and wants others to see it.

These adaptations let the competition bring distinctive value to each setting.
